The Human Resource Development Center of Lovely Professional University organized seven-day Workshop on Research Methodology at its Campus. 52 faculty members & research scholars from various parts of India including Mumbai, Kolkata, Bhopal, Delhi, J & K, Punjab, Haryana and more participated in it. Renowned resource persons from NITs of India, GNDU Amritsar & LPU mentored the participants. Various research methods were deliberated in blended pedagogy of input, interaction and hands on practice during the workshop. Participants were asked to focus their research areas on topics that benefit the community, society, nation and the globe. They were also urged to use practical and live data in preference to hypothetical data. Each training day was divided into 4 sessions of one and half hour each in workshop mode. The last session was devoted exclusively to doubt clearing and practice. 

One of the resource persons, Head of the Department of Business Administration, NIT Kurukshetra Dr Neeraj Kaushik informed: � The workshop proved to be advantageous for all participants as they were guided how to perform statistical analysis, data & text mining, predictive modeling and decision optimization. Participants were instructed to predict with confidence what may happen next so that they can make smarter decisions, solve problems and improve outcomes. They were also informed about important software available as ready-reckoner for smoothness in their various research analyses.�

All participants were appreciative of the efforts put up by LPU in terms of learning environment, venue setting, infrastructure provided, study material and content delivery. Participants were also impressed by the subject expertise of the resource persons.
