STEP 1
Firstly, disconnect the mobile from internet, disable WiFi/mobile data,

Clear WhatsApp from recent apps history or restart your device

Head over to the device settings and change the device date to the previous date of the chat, which you want to delete.

STEP 4
Post resetting the date, open Whats-App and delete the messages using DELETE FOR EVERYONE option.
